What a difference a flash makes! It kind of freaked me out when I took this- how deceived have I been from other people's pictures?When we got the deck leading onto the sand, a man came jogging up to us from the water, telling us to be careful, because there were sand mites biting like crazy. We opted to stand there for a few minutes anyway. And I regretted that decision for the next three weeks.
